The founders of Krowd have an extensive history and experience as managers of an online Internet tools. Krowd is a culmination of over thirty years of combined experience and product development into one solution. The customers dictated what we built from our early days of NetDesign. There is a serious need for a better way to edit web sites. Developers struggled with this so we created an HTML editor, called Activedit, to embed into existing websites to make it easier for customers to edit their site. We continued to create many web-based components and grew to over 8,000 customers.

After ActivMail our customers explained that their mail server could not keep up with ActivMail. One customer had over forty mail servers to which ActivMail served emails! From that need sprung XMS Mail Server and Campaign Intelligence. Now, as Zrinity, we were successful for many years before one of our original partners, Rob Thrasher, came back with a struggle he was having.

Rob moved on to a different opportunity in 2009 and worked selling online business solutions in the Upstate New York marketplace. Rob's customers were struggling to manage online marketing along with their normal every day business. They constantly outsource web development to a third party, didn't bother with email marketing because it was to cumbersome, used Facebook but had no idea who their Facebook fans were and many more issues. They didn't know who their loyal customers were, and worse yet, how to market to these customers. They offer fifty percent deals to the wrong customers at the wrong time and in the wrong zip codes. We then began our new journey and today we are proud to offer Krowd.
